The E50 Exosome
The E50 is a sterile preparation of exosomes (tiny cell-signalling vesicles), growth factors and peptides derived from salmon cells. It is manufactured in South Korea under controlled conditions and arrives at the clinic ready for use.
The reason we use a salmon-derived preparation rather than a human-derived one is partly scientific and partly regulatory. Salmon-derived exosomes share relevant growth factor biology with human tissue and carry no human disease transmission risk.

Microneedling With Exosomes

TargetCool
TargetCool is a handheld cooling device made by RecensMedical (South Korea). It uses a CO2 cartridge to cool the scalp precisely before and during microneedling, which makes sessions significantly more comfortable, and it has a secondary boost mode designed to support topical delivery into the skin layers beneath the surface.
It is not a treatment in its own right. It is the tool that makes the session tolerable and the delivery more effective.

Microneedling
Microneedling uses a medical device to create a controlled pattern of fine, shallow channels across the scalp. This does two things simultaneously: it activates the scalp’s own wound-healing response, which on its own has good evidence for supporting hair density in pattern hair loss, and it opens a route for the E50 preparation to reach the follicle level rather than sitting on the surface.
Microneedling on its own is not new in hair restoration. A 2025 meta-analysis found significant improvements in hair density when microneedling was combined with topical treatments. It is the delivery mechanism that makes the exosome therapy clinically meaningful.
